Rough Idle = Injectorswap = Cure

Thanks go out unending to this site for it has CURED my rough idle sickness on my 305 TPI engine. I had a rough idle for a few months on my car and changed everything you can think of that could be related to the problem I.E. cap n rotor, spark plugs, distributor coil, replaced all my vacuum hoses etc... I did a little research on this message board and narrowed my wide selection of symptoms down to just only a few. I had discovered my fuel injectors were VERY faulty and replacing them with the tutorial I have found on this site made that job 500 times easier https://www.thirdgen.org/injectorswap being I had NO knowledge whatsoever in this situation. During the injector swap process, I had discovered a clogged line for my EGR in my intake runners which horrifically clogged the ports in my plennum aswell, also discovered a rip in my intake boot from my MAF to my throttle body which ofcourse added to my rough idle problem, and lastly a loose vacuum nut which was going from the PVC valve on the drivers side to the manifold. Anyway I read a lot of posts about people having a rough idle, thought this could help them if they happened to read this! Thanks thirdgen.org !!!!

To this day I still rave about member's like Vader, Grumpy (RIP), and a few others to just about every single person that I know in the racing world. The knowledge here has always been second to none, and I'm glad that it was able to help you out as well....
