ram jet intake is out...
so I heard and saw you can get one for like 360$, but what's the catch if I want to bold it on to my 85 motor?? is it even compatible?
would it be better compared to the TPI?
Thanks

I ordered one from Jim Pace on Monday. Should be here today! Pace was the cheapest I found at $404 (Scoggin-Dickey was $429).
Chevy hasn't released the fuel rails or hardware yet, and there's no firm date on when they will do so. I'm going to fab my own, although I'm going to see if LT-1 rails will work first (Street&Performance might have some, also).
The RamJet will only bolt up to Vortec patterned heads - I'm using Fast Burn's.
Should run great and look awesome!

I spoke with Pace Friday, 11/3, and the guy told me they had fuel rails for the Ram Jet. He also told me it uses the TB from a 3.8 V-6.
Super Chevy, have you already worked out a complete installation plan? I'd be interested in corresponding with you about this as I am intrigued by the Ram Jet myself.
Please send an email if you have time.
