tuning with a fuel ratio meter
I have recently installed a Inteletronix digital fuel meter in my car, as well as a new O2 sensor, but while driving the meter never reads in the green, its always way lean, but the question I have is when is the ratio supposed to e right, at idle, part throttle or normal driving throttle? Does anyone else have one of these and where do you have yours tuned to?
any help will be great.
unless I havent updated my registration, this is a list of what I have
MSD 6AL, Vette aluminum 58 cc heads, cam for a supercharger (not yet installed) all the rest is stock and the exhaust is a duall 2.5" 3 chamber flowmaster system
thanks
Jack

Jack, a digatel fuel meter? I would like to see that. Do they have a web site? Anyhow you left out a lot of info. 305? 350? 383? ect ect. Carb, FI,ect ect. I have A/F monitors on my 99 Durango (5.9L) and my 84 Z28(355). They are the lite type and work just great.

The gauge is digital and I'm almost 100% sure that it uses the stock oxygen sensor (does not have a separate sensor).

'88 GTA 350
Headers, catback, free mods, Xtreme energy cam, and intake pieces
13.51@104.27, but can run better as it is.
New 2100-2300 RPM converter is in. Hoping for 13.30 or better.

sorry guys I forgot to put the signature on here I havent been on here in a while. as far as the guage its from jegs or summit its $35-40, and does use the stock oxygen sensor. its from inteletronix (I think thats right) if you have one of the Jegs or summit catalogs look in their guage section, cant miss it.

'87 Monte Carlo SS,with '89 IROC 350,700 trans, blew up 3.73 posi stuck with crappy 2.73's neeed gears! hooker headers, flow's 2 1/2" exhaust true dualls, recently installed a set of alum vette heads 58cc, new cam for a paxton, waiting on paxton till I can find a good rearend. So if anyone knows where a buick GN 8.5" rear is let me know.

Nothing tells you as accurately reading the spark plugs for AFR.
BTW, I own and use a true WB O2 as a tuning aid, and have seen how inaccurate a oem one is
