I need to know where the wires run to from the MAF sensor. I am wiring up a 86 tpi in a 1st gen. The plug on the sensor has 5 wires a,b,c,d,e Thanks for help. I think a is ground, b and c go to the ecm I think, but I don't know where the other ones go. Thanks

Someone will have to tell us if an 89 350 tpi has the same wiring as your 86 so that your comfortable. But I can you the wiring on my 89 pulled from my manual. Maybe it will help a bit.
A-black/white wire is a chassis ground
B black wire goes to ECM on pin A11. I have a different ECM than you so...?
C Dark Green goes to ECM on pin B12.
D Dark Blue goes to Mass Airflow Burn Off Relay (term A) and Mass Air Relay on term C
E Red wire is hot and comes from the Mass Air Relay on term E.
Since you have the same pins maybe it's all the same from 86 to 89. Go to a local GM dealership and see if they can scan or print you off a copy of the tune port injector schematic, not the idle circuit but the injector schematic for vin 8 or F.

Thanks so much .... I had found some other info online that matches yours exactly and it was stated that the 86 and 89 are the same. I have wired it so and am almost ready to try starting the thing up. Thanks again and wish me luck
