Transmission: 5 speed and vette has 700r4
Axle/Gears: 373's in T/A .. vette unknown

Mine works like this. Turn key on security light stays on for maybe 10 seconds and goes out. If it stays on then vats has issues.

VATs does not control fuel to the engine, it controls spark.
I swapped '730 speed density ECU TPI with VATs into my 69 camaro. The fuel pump would prime for two seconds everytime I turned the key, but the engine would not start until I turned VATs off in the bin.
