Rebuilt 350 or used L98.....

I can get a used L98 or get a machine shop to rebuild me a 350. I have all the TPI stuff on my LB9 car right now. I will just need to get my better injectors and make a decision as far as baseplates, runners and heads go. What do you guys suggest. I know your getting tired of my post but gees this decision is killing me.

Oh yeah the L98 has 82,000 miles on it and it would cost the same amount for either assuming i do a base rebuild (which won't happen) but still what would you guys say?

Build whichever gives you the most power.

I think 85 was either the first year of the roller cam, or the last year of the flat tappet. Not completely sure on either case, but pretty sure. Of course, I may be confusing it with the year TPI was available.

87 is the first year for roller cams, and also the first year the L98 350 TPI was available in f-bodies. So all thirdgen 350's should be roller cams.
