3.73's v.s. 3.42's on a stock L98 with 1 3/4" headers?
Just wondering what are the best gears 3.73's or 3.42's on a stock L98 with SLP 1 3/4" headers and crane ignition box (if that matters at all). Are the 3.73's not any benefit because of the rev range or would they be better than the 3.42's because of the loss of bottom end torque with the headers?

I dunno where this "you lose torque with headers" crap started, but can we end it please?? With headers, you GAIN torque AND horsepower.
With your mods, I'd say 3.42 gears are better.
