Replacement runner gaskets.
Ok if I use these gaskets that is when I should gasket match my stock components right?
100-011 Tuned Port Gasket Set, Large Tube $18.00
Will these work?
Buy the way they are from TPIS.

87 Z28 305 TPI, Auto, 2.73, Gutted air boxes, K & N fillters, SLP Airfoil, Dyno Max 3" cat back, Accel 8.8 mm spirals, Accel cap and rotor, Accel coil, rapid fires, and 170 Stat.

Sure you can use those, but if they're larger than your components, you'll run out of area to port before you get to the edge of the gasket.

I was also gonna ask this.... when gasket matching runners, what gaskets does one buy? Do you buy a regular sized set and cut the gaskets to make them larger?

I used the stock gaskets with the stock runners, and the large tube gaskets with my large tube runners.
That didn't answer anything. You stated the obvious. The question is, when gasket matching, it wouldn't make sense to use stock size runners, if you want to enlarge the runner openings. They are the same size as the stock runner openings. Therefore, you'd need larger gaskets, whether you buy them or enlarge stock sized gaskets.

What I meant was, the stock runners dont have enough area to port-match to the large runner gaskets...
