Re: oil pressure switch location

There is a switch and a sending unit. I can't remember which is which but regardless, there is one directly behind the intake that mounts off the back of the block, its a big round thing with a single wire going into it. The other is located in the side of the block just above where the oil filter screws in.

You can see both in this pic.

Re: oil pressure switch location

Try behind the intake manifold, screwed into the block, against the firewall, closer to the driver's side cylinder head?

Re: oil pressure switch location

i think what your looking for is oil press/ fuel switch . its above the oil filter on the drivers side . be careful with the plastic plug to it .they get brittle with age . clean it good before trying to take it off , and have a good light to see it . did i say clean the area where it screws into block ? when you put the new one back in don't forget teflon tape on the male threads . worked for me .
