What are some good performance ideas for my goal of mid 13 second quarter mile times? What parts perform the best and are worth the money? Converter? Gears? What ratios are best if I want to have some top speed capability? Any other ideas? Thanks.

I would start off with full exhaust.(headers, y-pipe, muffler) A set of 3.73's. And a 2600-2800 stall converter. That should get you close to your goal.

To keep a stock engine, go with a higher stall converter, drag radials, headers and exhaust, and some kind of cold-air or ram-air setup, along with the free mods.
