AFPR help.

I just installed a accel adjustable fuel pressure regulator and I cant adjust it. No matter how much I turn the screw it doesnt change. It is stuck at 38 psi at idle with no vacuum and 40 with vacuum. I think maybe I got a faulty AFPR. I mean I had it all the way down and it was at 38 psi I loosened it all the way and it hit 40. Anyone have a clue what the problem is?

Plus how does it work? Loosen higher pressure or lower pressure?
Thanks
Jason

Re: AFPR help.

Loosen - lower

Maybe you assembled the internals backwards.

Re: AFPR help.

yeah I took it back apart and forgot to put the steel plate on top that the screw pushes on.
