Engine: L98 5.7 350
Transmission: 700R4 4speed automatic
Axle/Gears: stock axle with 327s
lookin for about 400 horses out of my l98
what ive got is an 87 GTA. ive already got hedman long tubes on it already with 3'' pipes all the way back, no cat. i want to stick with efi, not a big fan of carbs. im trying to rind the right combo of (heads, cam, roller rockers, intake manifold, injectors, throttle body, forged pistons and crank.)
im looking for about 400hp before nitrous
also, im having a lil bit of a traction problem, if you floor it from a dead stop itll sit and spin for a good 3-4 seconds

A simple search of the TPI forum should find you lots of combos. There was one by 1989TransAmGTA about having a 400RWHP TPI but it turned out to be a bad dyno. It actually made 350 RWHP thru an automatic. I have also posted quite a few TPI combos in this forum.
To fix your traction problem, subframe connectors, and an upgraded rear suspension will help. You'll need lower control arm relocation brackets, too. That way the lower control arms are pushing the rear end into the pavement on launch.
