Jet-hot coating?
Jet-hot coating?
I'm just wondering if anyone has ever thought of getting their TPI coated by Jet-hot. I was just thinking that since they're port injected we don't have to worry about fuel fallout, plus I thought it might help flow and lessen the heat transfer to the incoming air. Just a thought, let me know if this is a dumb idea. As a bonus it would look great too!

There are coatings specificaly for certain parts of the intake. There is an oil shedding heat resisting coating for the bottom of the intake. There is a heat dissipating coating for the outside surfaces and there is a teflon based coating for the inside surfaces of the ports.
