Question about Orange & Red lead off the Postive Battery Cable

Hey guys... you know the Red & Orange connectors that come off of the Positive Batter Terminal... can someone show me a pic of where the Orange one goes too... if I could get a close up of all those wires... and kind of where they route... that'd be great.

My car is a Single Fan car (No A/C)... so i don't know if that matters or not...

I'd take pics of any ASAP... Thanks,

Dave

Re: Question about Orange & Red lead off the Postive Battery Cable

I am not sure where else it might go but I know on my 91 Z28 that the orange wire provides 12 volts to the relays that operate the fans. The previous owner had hacked up the fan wiring and when I went to put it back to stock the orange wire had been cut and I was able to test and prove continuity between the back of the relay and the orange wire at the battery.
Once I reconnected the orange wire my fans began to work again.
I don't have a wiring diagram so I can't say what else the orange wire might power. I hope that helps a little.

Eric

Yup... I do believe it is for the fan... I just don't see how it ties into the relay or the plug... and that's why I'd love some pics...

Thanks!
