Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt / 3.31 12 bolt

Knock sensor?

There's a sensor disconnected under the passenger side exhaust manifold. Is that the knock sensor?

If it is at the rear of the pass side... it's the coolant fan switch... if it's at the front of the engine... below the head... then it is the knock sensor.

Easier put - knock sensor is in the block. Fan switch is in the head.
