Re: Accle Super Ram VS HSR

One drawback to the Super Ram is that it is no longer in production. I found out after Lingenfelter Performance let me order one. Maybe some performance parts dealer has one, somewhere, or you have to find a used one.

Re: Accle Super Ram VS HSR

SuperRam retains the EGR, good midrange torque, hard to install, looks great.
Holly has no EGR, better pull up top, easier to install, not so pretty.

I have a SuperRam, but I sure wouldn't want to take it off and back on for mods later on. I see you already have heads, cam, so you're probably looking for something that's more of a permanent install?

BTW, send me some pics of the Formula if you have some. mr6spd@gmail.com

That is a bummer! Scoggin Dickey was selling a complete crate EFI engine using the SuperRam. I guess they'll have to change that, now.

pretty much sums it up... i think the Superram is nice looking but the HSR is also pretty nice as well. It has grown on me and now i like it, especially after painting mine.

HSR is easy as pie to install. it was 10 times easier than TPI, and TPI is alot easier than superram. that was the only draw back to the superram other than the fact it was more expensive than HSR. It was too damn PITA to install.

And the price...UESD superrams for 600-700 dollars. You can get a NEW HSR for 550 or so now from summit.

Re: Accle Super Ram VS HSR

the superram is a very sweet intake one installed with enough bolts to build another car with!but it WORKS!!!!!
stealthram very cool looking intake especially polished, easy to instal and if you are good you can instal an EGR valve into it.not hard at all especially if you have worked with the vette egr system,C.A.R.B. legal well no but will it get by the smog ****'s prolly!
Lt1 intake easy to mod for conventional instal looks cool and is cheaper than all but thats a totally different story.
