Plenum
Plenum
I recently purchased a used TPI and there is a sensor or something missing. It's all the way in the back corner of the plenum and comes in at an angle. I can't find it in any of my books.
I believe thats the intake air temp(IAT) a.k.a. MAT or manifold absolute temperature sensor. Would you could do is relocate the sensor to in front of the Throttle body to gain a more accurate measurement. Glenn would know more about this if in indeed this is the sensor you're talking about.
That port is for the power brake vacuum line.

Yah, the one in the back left corner that comes in at an angle is for the power brake booster. The MAT is underneath in the back.
