ZZ4 cam how does it idle below 700rpm
ZZ4 cam how does it idle below 700rpm? I really don't want to have it idle any higher than that. Right now stock cam and converter it idles smooth as hell at 500 rpm. I want to keep the idle as smooth as possible is this too much cam? If you have this cam please let me know. Also if you have a LPE 219 cam, Lt4, or Lt4 hot cam how do they idle? I don't want a car that surges forward when you let off the brakes I like it how it is right now, would a new converter help?
thanks

I have a manual trans and it idles smooth at 750 RPMs. Yes I think a higher stall converter would help what you described. The LPE219 and LT4 HOT cam are both big cams with a lumpy idle. The LT4 stock cam is only slightly bigger than a stock 350 TPI cam, and would idle the same.
