Has anyone removed their AIR and not set trouble codes or had drivability problems? I'm building a motor to replace my 305 and don't want to waste money and time into air injection. I live in FL so there are no smog checks. The car will be a mild road race car, but still want to be able to drive it around the block

Took mine off over six months ago, no trouble codes yet, no driveability problems. Just get some brass pipe plugs for the manifolds or get some headers without smog pump tubes. Don't let people tell you it will mess with the O2 sensor output to remove the AIR system either. No fresh air is diverted to the manifolds in closed-loop operation. All that's left is to find the right belt if you're running a serpentine system, and there's an article in the tech section of this board on that with the belt size and routing. Hope this helps.

I've removed mine aswell (but kept the pump on). Used the brass fittings wich works well. What did you guys do with the electrical collections?

There's a smog pump delete pulley available too if you want to keep the stock serpantine belt and routing. You can read about (and see pictures of) the smog pump delete pulley here and here.
