Difference between a TPI specific cam and lets say a ZZ4 or LT4?

There are several cam manufacturers that offer TPI specific grind cams. Just wondering what's the major difference between a TPI specific and others such as the ZZ4 and LT4 cams that alot of folks are using with TPI?
Thanks

basically TPI cams have two things going for them. The valve events are timed to take advantage of very long intake runner lengths for great torque. In other words they waste very little cylinder pressure that is gained by the ramming effect of long runners.
The second thing is minimal valve overlap so that vacuum is strong and steady which allows the computer to function as it was designed for smooth operation.

They also work very well with dualplane carburetor intakes.

To add to what OBD said, they are also all hydraylic roller cams to minimise friction and thus increase horsepower.
The reason I suggest the ZZ4, LT4, TPIS, LPE and SLP cams is because they are made for the TPI motors, where as the comp cams and such usually aren't. Now, a lot of people are using non TPI specfic cams and have wonderful success. But I think in a TPI motor, you should run a TPI cam, just my 2 cents though.
