I heard that the B4C package had better baffling in the tank so it wont run dry on a hard corner, wondering if they are interchangable and how to get one? Tired of running out of gas when im not...........

The B4C and 1LE gas tanks are baffled and have a swinging fuel pick-up to keep the pump from starving with low fuel. I think they also hold a few more gallons (18?). Since these were regular production cars, it should be a direct swap. Good luck finding one.

Could you order one from GM? I am going a swap from carb on my 87 IROC to TPI that I've got sitting in my basement, but I'd need to swap in a new tank, so I figure I'll swap in a B4C/1LE tank while I'm at it.
