Cold Starts - or not
Okay, I put a new fuel pump (BBK 67gph) in my IROC about a month ago, and it ran absolutely wonderful. Started right up (had had it take forever to start up with the old fuel pump)...until it decided to drop into the 50s in the morning. Now, the car takes forever to start (like 30 sec - 1 minute), sputtering until it finally sputters to life where it idles really rough until all the fuel gets flowing and it starts up - and one of the belts will NOT stop squealing. It stops after 7 or 8 minutes of the engine running. Not so concerned about the belt - as it is either a tension problem or the belt is bad.
But why the hell won't this car start when its cold outside? I don't think it's the fuel pump (I can let the car sit with the key in "On" to try and build fuel pressure - but it doesn't do anything, since I don't believe the pump is dead already (it certainly shouldn't be)). I'm thinking it's not the fuel-pressure regulator, since I would have an issue all the time. I mean, the only other thing I can think of is the cold-start injector.
Also, could the Hypertech ThermoMaster performance chip be stopping the cold-start injector from performing its duties?
Thanks.

check your alternator or you have a weak battery ...that is why your fuel pump wont kick on all the way hope this helps it happend to me ...cold weather tends to drain a bad battery faster please ''check your battery ''

Yeah, I took it up to a reputable mechanics shop where I've had work done before. Apparently, the battery I bought had a bad positive terminal, so it wouldn't allow the adapter that I had on the car for the amp to fit in correctly (it was loose - one two occasions, once at my house, the other to the mechanics, the battery was dead - but if you wiggled the cable, it would be "fine"), and it would break more every time you tried to tighten the nut.
They put a new battery in, as well as a new O2 sensor (since the old one was far beyond useful). I'm thinking that battery issue was my problem.
