calling all LG4 carb to TPI owners

Does anybody have any pictures or instructions on how when you converted from carb to tpi, how did you run the fuel lines, because on a carb enging the fuel lines come up on the pass side and they need to go to the drivers side for the tpi fuel rail. I need suggestions on how someone did this. The rest of the conversion will be easy for me, I just havent figured out the re-routing of the fuel lines yet.

I converted a TBI 1994 G10 van to TPI. The fuel lines were on the passenger side frame and came up over the transmission, to the right side of the distributer and up to the TBI. I put a CPI astro van fuel pump in the tank. Cut the original fuel line crimp clamps off the rubber flex pieces over the transmission. I took two lengths of GM fuel line repair tubing from autozone (3/8 and 5/16 iirc) that already had the correct end for the TPI. I also rented one of their tubing benders. I bent the tubes smoothly around a 180* pointed toward the alternator on the passenger side. The dipped down close to the water pump. Once past everything, I pointed the tubes toward the rear of the engine. I then used fuel injection hose to complete the connections.

Re: calling all LG4 carb to TPI owners

Just grab some V-6 ... TBI ... TPI lines they are all the same and pretty easy to route and skip trying to make your LG-4 lines work ... too much work much easier just putting in lines from an injected car.
