Blown ECM fuse = Bad ECM???

Found out the ECM's fuse was blown and thats why it wouldn't start. COuld this be the reason for all my hesitation problems? Is the ECM going bye-bye?

It could indicate a short in the wiring harness (the most likely reason for the fuse blowing). And yes, this could cause poor running.

If it is a short with the wiring harness you could disconnect the ECM, all connectors to it, and make sure you replace the fuse and turn on the ignition BUT DON'T TURN OVER THE ENGINE. If the fuse blows the you COULD have a +12 volt line shorting probably to the frame. If the fuse does not blow the it COULD be the ECM. I said COULD on both of these cause when it comes to electrical problems anything goes.
I wish you luck cause you'll need it.

Also try tapping lightly on the ECM with the car running and see if it stalls out. What were your other problems before the blown fuse??

OK, I'll try that. Read my "Code 33 stumbling" post below in the TPI stuff. Thanks
