I rescently have had a cold starting problem, the first time it happened I was in New hampshire and it was -10*,the coldest day of the year it took forever to get it going(started right after a monster backfire)and ever since I have trouble starting it when it's cold,I never had this problem before, and it runs the nuts once it starts

Remove your cold-start injector, clean the passage with Valvoline carb/TB cleaner, and reinstall (preferably replace, use a new o-ring). Be careful removing it. Make sure the injector is seated in ALL THE WAY or it won't want to run (vacuum leak). The motor will take a quick second to start (normal, because of the cleaner). Let it run for a minute or two, snapping it out occasionally to clean out the passages. This should help, check it the next morning. Be sure to take it around the block after doing this. You'll notice when you remove the injector the spray pattern(where the gas flowed)...if it's broad, you're OK; if there's a small river along the bottom, it's clogged. Mine was clogged. Check the bottom of the injector nozzle and the intake. Does it start like this when cold or every time you try to start it? If the motor is new, then this probably won't help, but it's worth a try. Change your fuel filter and check your timing too...it could be alot of things, so double check everything. Don't trust a stock damper...often the outer ring slips around the hub, resulting in faulty timing adjustments, leading to numerous 'unsolvable' drivability problems...
