TPI wiring harness, will an auto harness work in a maual car
I may be able to get an auto tpi harness for my conversion, I am putting in a maual trans as well, will this harness work with a manual trans? If so, anything inparticular I need to do to make it work? Thanks in advance for any help.

The only difference should be the connections for the transmission. The automatic has a connection for the torque convertor while the manual does not. I'm also not sure about if the automatic has the reverse lights like the manual does.

there are plenty of things to do the swap right. Im still working on some now. You have to cut wires at the shifter and splice some together and run others to the trans for reverse lights to work. You also have to jump certain wires to make the ecm think its in neutral for timeing the car. Im still working on the speedo. I got an older T-5 trying to work in a 91 Z. I highly suggest getting a Chiltons, not Hayes manual. Its like my new bible.
