AFTERMARKET COLD START INJECTOR
Hi guys. Does anybody know where to buy a new cold start injector for a 1988 TPI motor. I know it is discontinued from GM, but does anybody sell an aftermarket one? If so where can I buy it?

Did you have trouble driving when the car was cold? Hesitating and back firing? What about the cold start switch? Located on the front of the intake manifold.

Re: AFTERMARKET COLD START INJECTOR
The only thing it does is squirt a little bit of extra fuel only when the engine is started, and the temp is less than 40 degrees F. Unless you live in the Northern states or Canada, you can safely disconnect it. And even if you live in the North, the worst I have seen is it will take 2 or 3 extra turns of the key to get the car to start in the morning.
