K&N Cone filter
Does anyone have pics of a cone filter on thier TPI.Also what is the difference between one that sucks in 600 cfm and 1000 cfm and which one would you recommend?

If you are thinking about mounting a cone to your throttle body, think again. Your car is MAF, the ones you see with the cone on the TB are speed density. That being said, your 305 isn't going to need a 1000 cfm filter, but I don't see where it could hurt either.

Personally I would not use the cone filter on your car. Yeah it may flow a lot better but do you realize what it is flowing? Take a look at your temp gauge while your driving down the road, that's a pretty good indication of how hot the air going into the intake is going to be. Those filters are good if it is a customem application and don't have much room or if you have just done a TPI swap into your car and don't have the intake snorkels.(What ever their called). Now for diference wise, that I'm not sure but I do remember seeing some where that there was a differnce. I think in the size of the filter? Hope that helps.
