TPI assembly?

I've been trying to assemble my TPI on the bench prior to installing it on to the car, I can't find the sequence to this, the runners seem to bind up into my fuel rails.
It is a powder coated 1990/91 Accel base with Accel high flow long tube runners, a Accel reworked plenum and Corvette fuel rail.
Is there a good web site out there that might help me?
Thanks

Re: TPI assembly?

I can't do pictures. I have never assembled one of there as I have just finished getting all the parts together. They are riding/binding hard between the out side of the fuel rails and the inside radius and lower flanges of the runners during assembly. I think they will clear when assembled if I trim some material off the runners (so much for the new powder coating). I'm going to tear it apart again tonight and try a different sequence, I think I need to locate (but not bolt down) the runners, fuel rail and plenum and tighten them all together alittle at a time.

Re: TPI assembly?

There should be no binding whatsoever.
The only sequence of assembly would be:
fuel rail on manifold
then runners on manifold; don't tighten
then plenum on runners; don't tighten
tighten lower runner bolts
tighten upper runner bolts

Thank you, I had a neighborhood party in the back yard last light and didn't get to it. Tonight I will try it again.
