Be rare...buy a 335 stroker crank. Get pistons made for 5.7" rods. replace the flywheel nd damper and balance. You already have been bored over. That engine won't make much more high-end horsepower, but will make a ton of torque (which is what you need on the street, anyway).

A 350 conversion might not be a bad idea, but I see you've already inversted $$$ in your 305 into some 305-specific parts...a 350 or 383 swap would give you alot more HP with maybe a small loss of mileage. Only other thing I can think of off the top of my head is a windage tray, a rocker stud girdle or a blower. I'm sure there's more out there, will make other posts as the ideas flow in.

I think someone who has invested time, money and thought into my 305 is pretty rare. I doubt theres one person in this place whos spent as much as time and money into a 305. Im not really interested in running 10 sec. on the quarte mile. And since im about to run low 13's with a little 305 i think i did a job well done. Thanks oh what are my miles per gallon.

you have impressive setup and lot of miles ahead i'd add underdrive pulleys, those simply add horse power and you'll get better mileage. that's win-win position.

what kind of cam you'll be running?

I would use underdrive pulleys but im really scared about cooling and charging problems. People have told me no theres no prob and others say there are lots of prob. Im just afraid to spend 157.00 for the three piece and find out i have those problems. One more thing if i buy it should i buy all three, two or one and how would i know what type of belt i need since the pulleys are smaller. Posting the cam specs is a pain but im sure u ve heard of it. Its accel's cam from lingenfelter part #74211.

Well u have a better chance of making more power than me since u have a speed density system. All my mods was pretty expensive considering it took my a year of finding places that were the cheapest i can find. I really cant recall the exact price on parts.
edelbrock base=$346.00(summit)
Accel cam=$275.00 (From lingenfelter himself)
Corvette heads=paid $450.00 for both heads which were rebuild and an additional $250.00 for porting and polish)
edelbrock headers=$308.00(had some mild porting done inside)
catco converter$49.00(free flowing catalytic converter from summit its a 3 inch single universal)
Flowmaster Force II system=$275.00(3 inch piping to an 80 series muffler and has dual 3 inch stainless steel tips.
U can port the plennum yourself.
ignition is up to u
get the airfoil at SLP for 29.95
injectors i bought from summit(ford racing injectors, yes i said ford. Dont go more than 19lb injectors)
Oh yeah the corvette heads work much better on a 305 than a 350 especially if there ported. Theres a bunch of other stuff but its a long list. If u need more info email me or write another post and ill get back to u.
