TPI guys, I need help with injector install

Ok, Lately I was having a lot of trouble with my car idling. I heard what sounded like one NASTY vacuum leak and just by chance happened to push on an injector and heard it go away and the idle picked up! Ok, cool I think, replace o-rings no problem. Well, here's my question. I put the new o-rings on the fuel injectors, put the rail back in, and I don't think the injectors are going all the way in, pulling back out on the fuel rail the injectors offer no resistance at all to being removed. I can tell it's sealing, but possibly not well. SO, should they like "pop" in or do they just pretty much sit there?

Mine popped in. Use some oil on the o-rings otherwise they might tear.
