Beutiful day to drive a GTA, but wait...it won't start!!!
Went out this morning before school and turned the key...here's what happenned:
the radio did NOT come on
the dash lights did
the volt gage, it read less than 0
When I turned to crank, the starter didn't even begin to revolve. Could this be the connections, or is it the old battery?

That would be my first guess. I have accidentally left my lights on where I still had enough power to turn on the lights but not enough power to crank it over.
If you put a "jump" to the battery and it turns over, then you know the problem. Check out the connetion to your battery cables for corrosion.
Also, if ALL POWER is fully available and you hear absolutely nothing, it may be your anti-theft (VATS) is acting up. You can tell if you have VATS if you notice a little "black thing" in the ignition key that is not on most normal keys.
If you turned it on/off 3 times or more, then VATS will disable itself for a period of time. Give it a little time and try it again. I know that when these cars get a bit older, sometimes the "pick up" in the ignition cylinder lock start to go. I had to get mine replaced after about 7 years of use.
