Fuel pressure setting for going 22lb -> 19lb injectors?

Hi all, I've been away a while. I learned long ago to use the search function first, but the new beta is awful. Also, the site seems to be running quite slow tonight. So I thought I'd go ahead and ask.

I got away from my 92 Z28 (350 TPI) for a while and am back to it. One of the last things I did was get the Ford Motorsports "yellow-top" 19lb/hr fuel injectors (for quality). I knew I'd have to bump the fuel pressure, and I recall doing the research and having a target figure in mind - but then I stopped working on the car for a while.

Soooo, now I'm back to the car, and I finally got an AFPR, so how should I set it to compensate for the lower flow rate?

Thanks, everybody.

Ford injectors are rated at 38 psi, GM @ 43.5. The Ford injectors are 19# @ 38 psi, at 43.5 psi they flow 20.3 lb/hr. I have a stock 1986 TPI setup that was factory set at 46 psi, they flow 21# at that factory setting. To get 22 lb/hr, you need 51 psi.

Thanks for the reply!

Ok, follow-up question: I intended to raise the pressure to the "48-50" psi range for stock injectors, because of the performance increase everyone talks about. What would I set the pressure at with the 19 lb/hr injectors to achieve this?

Thanks!
