ordering runners what ones?

Ordering runners this week what do you think is better? The Edelbrocks that are 1.7"dia or the SLP's that are 1.6"dia siamesed I would like to decide by monday night! Help me decide Im leaning toward the edelbrocks because their bigger diameter but still have the SLP's in mind because I can port the crap out of them if they dont do any good

I think you'd see equal gains with both. Get the ones you think look best on your motor then port the insides, and match them to the intake and plenum.

I heard AS&M has some good ones, but they have a steep price. I like the fact that you can port those other runners. I just siamesed the stock ones . Actually came out decent, no idea how they work (yet). Nowadays I'm not sure of TPI's, I originally thought they were great but it's starting to look like the extra $$$ you pay is for hype and reputation. Dont need it. I personnally think you should go with the SLP's if you like porting...if not, go Edelbrock. Won't be a huge difference. I heard that the SLP's are only siamesed for 2" of runner length.
