TBI->TPI swap almsot ready to go

Well I bought myself a TPI off of an 87 IROC.
I have everything except the wiring harness and the lower part of the air box.

THe guy I bought it from is going to help me put it on. Any problems that I should be aware of that you have run into during the swap that I should be aware of?

Also best place to get the harness? Summit of Jegs or something, painless wiring?

Any and all help will be most appreciated.

Ah yes especially the question, which I am sure I already know the answer to:

DO I have to change the damn fuel pump?

YES you have to change the fuel pump. It's a pain in the *** if you do it the hard way. On my car I peeled the carpet up in the trunk, cut a hole, and made a panel with szus fasteners.
Also, send your stock TBI harness to Howell. Go to www.howell-efi.com. It costs $350 for the conversion, takes two weeks, and everything from in dash functions to emissions equipment will be operable. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT BUY A PAINLESS!! They are made for custom applications, not factory style swaps.
Any questions, email me. I've done the swap.

Best E.T. with TBI 305: 16.11 @ 82mph
Haven't been to track with new motor
If you have any questions on converting from TBI to TPI email me at jdkchevy70@yahoo.com
In memory of Dale Earnhardt, I'll miss cheering for that black #3 on raceday!!!

By the way, TBI runs at 12-14 psi, while TPI runs from 40-50psi. That's why you have to change the fuel pump.
