AFPR Adjustment
Just installed a JET AFPR with an Accel gauge attached to the schrader valve in a 305 TPI. JET tells me to set the pressure by just turning the ignition to run to energize the fuel pump. I set it to 42-43 psi, and while the car is running, the gauge is only reading 35 psi. What is the best way and pressure to set this?? New to this site. Gonna have to stick around, it is one of the best so far.

Same here, but when I unplug my vacume line its running 47 PSI ,37 PSI At idle, and 41 PSI with ignition on.

What is a good PSI to set it at? I am going to be installing mine this weekend I hope. I have a pretty much stock 305 with some little things done. Would 40-43 sound about right or will I just have to play with it to find out what is best?

to set the correct psi unplug the vac. hose and plug it with a golf tee or somthing. then you can adjust it with the engine running. with bolt on upgrades try 45psi. stock try 40 to 42 then play with it.
