Re: how manny have a cammed TPI with MAF?
I wish I had the time and finances to tune my setup.
But, your setup should run/idle fine given the MAF
is pretty forgiving to camshafts changes.
I am running a single pattern cam with 112lsa, 305
081 cylinder heads, 1.52rr's on a 350 w/ shorty headers.
no stall at the moment, rebuilt 700r4.. pretty similar mods.
All on a stock tune and stock injectors, so I'm rather
satisfied at the moment.
Crane grind Hydraulic roller, as follows
Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 224
Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 224
Duration at 050 inch Lift: 224 int. 224 exh.
Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.465 in.
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.465 in.
Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.465 int./0.465ext.
Lobe Separation (degrees): 112
The sucker fired up and purred, passed emissions and
smoked a BMW 525i all in the same week. Gas mileage
in right around 16-18mpg.
Is your car running? or yet to be started? I think
it will run fine initially.
If you have your own tuning equipment, duck
into the DIY/PROM tuning subforum to help out.

screw a 114 i, that to me is pointless if your going to do a cam swap do it big. my car is up and running, on a custom tune, my question is not what cam should i have went with, i chose a radical cam for a reason. i am having a hard time getting it just right so i was wondering what other people were using. it also runs fine on stock, but pig rich

110-114 is acceptable.. and will run and idle.
I didnt say It'll be good to go permenently.
the BMW was easy kill, boss. But, I shouldn't have to
say anything since you've run every cam profile on a TPI

Re: how manny have a cammed TPI with MAF?
previous to my 383 i had my 355 in the car. Running tpis mini ram/maf system. AFR lingenfelter heads cnc ported. it had tpis zz9 cam. ran awesome up to 6300 rpm, had moderate amount of lope idle to it. never hessitated or anything. ran a little fat when cold tho, had to be careful not to foul a plug. Probably had fuel system off a bit.
Now im using the same heads/intake setup on my 383. going to a .510/.510 302/310 duration cam. specs are with 1.5 rockers. im using 1.6's so makes it .544 lift
