How high can you raise FP on 24# SVO injectors?
How high can you raise FP on 24# SVO injectors before something bad happens? I currently have them set at 55 psi and each time I raise it quarter mile time and trap speeds get better. The car is very consistent at the track. The Accel Guage mounted on the fuel rail will only read up to 60 psi. If I go past that will it spell danger for the engine?

I'd say as long as your performance keeps increasing then keep increasing the fuel pressure! However, I'd say that high fuel pressure like that is probably making your fuel pump work harder which could be bad on the pump!! If you're already up to 55psi then you probably have TOO SMALL injectors! Might want to look into some 30# or 36# injectors!! With the proper set of injectors you shouldn't have to raise your FP to more than 45-47 psi!!
I agree with 86tpitrans am. Running 50psi is already straining your pump, 55psi may be too high. Actually, it's probably higher than that at WOT VS no vacuum on fuel rail. I personally wouldnt go much higher on the SVOs than what you have now. Your duty cycle is probably past the recommended 80% dude, you should check it though for reference. If it is, it's not good, you'll burn out your injectors in no time. If you had the 30lbers you would of been more versatile.

I raised the fuel pressure up to 58 psi now and it runs even better. I don't want to max it to 60. I am too afraid to hurt the injectors. I will wait to see what happens when it gets to the track. Also did a spark plug reading and the plugs look perfect. No black soot on them.

I had mine at about 58-60 and it ran okay. I lowered to about 50 psi and it runs much better. That's probably because I was running too rich to start with. Maybe it's time for you to look into a custom prom ?
