Replacing FPR, O-rings& gaskets...suggestions needed

I just got all the o-ring kits & runner gaskets to replace along with a new FPR. (85 TA 305) My questions are:
Should I use RTV to hold the Runner gaskets in place when installing, and if so, what kind is best.
Do I need Threadlock/ never seize in re-installation of my bolts for better seal? (Doesnt say so in my Pontiac Manual)
When removing fuel rail: If I am looking at it out of the car, upside-down on bench....to remove the Injectors Is CLOCKWISE when removing from rail?
Thanks, Guys.

Most stock replacement runner gaskets have the little white plastic pins in them that you press into the corresponding holes in the lower intake manifold and the upper plenum, so you shouldn't need any sealer to hold them in place. A little anti-seize on the bolts never hurts, but it's not necessary either. To remove the injectors from the fuel rail, it doesn't matter which way you twist them. Just remove the retainer clips, then twist them back and forth while pulling until they pop out of the rail. They may be referring to which way you need to turn the retainer clips. If so, there's a bump on the clip that's seated against the fuel rail. Just use a flathead screwdriver to push the tab and rotate the clip until it's loose.

Thanks, I was wondering what those pins were for on the gasket set. They are held together in pairs in the kit with the pins.I thaught thats all they were for.I see what youre saying about the injector removal. It was a little confusing to me in the Manual.I've NEVER pulled apart a TPI setup,so I dont trust myself kinda, but I feel I can handle it successfully.I also found the Techboard post on swapping Injectors, so Im gonna use that as a guide.
I'll post my success/failure after doing the job LOL
