whats a fairly nice camshaft i could run in my stock 305....i have a set of vortec heads with matching tpi base.....im going too push my little motor too the limits before the 400 goes in....

whats the max duration and lift...it will be injected

Anything with 210 or less duration, .470 or less lift, and 112 or more LSA. And you're going to want to change those springs to handle more lift.
If you can do your own custom chips, you could go with more duration, but I wouldnt recommend it for a 305.

 

cran compucam 2032, i just ordered mine. should work well with my mods, and a new built tranny with 2400 stall.

If you change the springs away from the stock ones yes, you can go up to .525 lift. I recommend the Manley 22410-16 springs and 23652-16 retainers. I gave my duration recommendation in post #2.
