want to take all that out and just about anything that has to do with emissions what can be taken out and what has to be done this cars going to be for the street and strip these cars come with to much crap thats not needed if you ask me its an 88 gta 305 5 speed any help would be appreciated thanks

 

First, do a This has been discussed hundreds of times.

Second, that crap as you call it is required to be on a street vehicle by FEDERAL law, regardless of what your state or local laws are. Removing or bypassing your emissions equipment is punishable by a fine and/or jailtime, if you're caught.

We have several cars in our SoCal club running 12 second ETs, getting 25 miles per gallon, and passing CA's strict smog test cleaner than stock with everything hooked up. If we can do it, so can you.

 

may be "required" by law but certainly is ugly and definately makes the engine bay cleaner looking and easier to work on.

you can delete EGR/AIR and smog pump but you'll have to make minor adjustments to the chip to "tune" out that stuff. smog pump you can take out adn run a delete pulley or different length belt. your choice.

Deleting that stuff wont really make you faster at all...i know i didnt notice anything from it...and it certainly wasnt heavy or anything. it just is nice to have a more open engine bay.

 

its just for the track and late nights and makes everything more complicated and harder to work on and i live in florida we dont have no emission tests over here but now im thinking of swapping a 350
