Am I gonna waste my time porting this intake manifold?I have a Superram,TFS heads(mild clean-up and 5 angle valve job),220/230 dur cam,.510 lift i/e,114 LS and a 383.Since I might have to pull it out I might dremel the inside a bit..

stupid question..is there a way of flow testing intake bases(like comparing ported vs.unported)?

Isn't the TPIS Bigmouth just a ported Edelbrock? It sould be ported out of the box.

 

When mine came right out of the box, it could still use some touching up. Nothing major.

TPIS only matches the ports. Down inside it looks "as cast"

have it extrude honed iit wontt enlargen the ports much however it cleans all the casting flash and the ports look like mirrors it will speed up the velocity of the intake charge
