'90 Z28 350/700R4 TPI as streetrod combo..
Hi all,
I'm a pretty proficient gearhead and have just finished reassembly of a 1936 Ford Sedan Delivery. I did the parallel leaf rearend (74 nova), 350/TH350 (72 Monty) tranny/engine mount mods and am curetnly running the original straight front axle. This summer, it's coming back apart for a MII IFS front end kit. A while back I picked up a 1990 Z28 350 TPI with a 700R4. Low and behold, the blocvk had a freeze damage crack but everything else, although well used is in pretty good shape. I may look into having the block repaired. I originally wanted a '90 for the roller lifter block. I have other 350's around but am paranoid about flat cam syundrome. The heads have the casting numbers 14101083. Are they worth rebuilding? I'm entertaining a BigStuff3 ECU for this combo. Anything I should do with this combo? I'd be pretty happy in hte 350-ish horsepower range. I'll swap in a cam with a little more noticable idle..... Am I all screwed up??? Uh-huh-huh...
Thanks,
Cam

Same heads that I pulled off my TA. I've been told that they're decent heads but for some reason I can't seem to give them away.
You should probably port them a bit for that horse requirement.
