Is it worth it to buy a MAF from the junkyard?
I need a new maf & i was wondering if its worth the hassel of going to the junkyard to purchase a used one?

i bought 1 2 yrs ago for $25 it jus quite yesterday im sure its a hit or mis thing later

Don't even bother. Like they said above, it is a hit or miss kinda thing. I got my hands on an 87 IROC that was hit lightly on the right side. I decided to put that MAF in because my connector was slightly broken. Although it had 22000 miles on it, that MAF was no good from sitting outside in the elements. I think a company named Wells (not quite sure if the comany is correct) makes a new MAF with a circuit board inside instead of the 3 heated wires. You get more CFM and it is a better quality and will last a lot longer.
