Re: TPI High idle

Have you tried a new and old priest? jking. Is your pcv in good shape? taken your intake off and checked the throttle body? maybe its not completely closed, I had one with a bunch of gunk built up that would make it stick a little. clean your MAF with a Qtip and rubbing alcohol if its dirty lookin.

Re: TPI High idle

i found in mine there is a small rib type thing inside the throttle body that stops the blade from actually closing all the way to the idle screw. My solution was to unplug IAC

Re: TPI High idle

I had the same problem you describe and it turned out to be a bad computer. It gave me none of the normal signs but when i finally broke down and had it scanned the scanner couldn't comunicate with it. The idle would go up to 1100 as after driving for 10 to 15 min due to heat in the ecm. Just my thoughts... I wish you luck!
