A common TPI misconception

.... is that the 90-92 305 TPI automatic and the 5 speed without option G92 are equipped with the peanut cam.

They aren't. It's been proven false by numerous sources as well as the fact that the cars are so much faster than the 80s peanut cammed MAF 305 TPIs... like 4-6MPH faster in the 1/4 mile with the same mods. It's the difference between an 87 and a 93MPH trap speed.

thanx for reading

*sigh* I am gonna wear this phrase out.

ONEFINE8T9, you're an idiot. Go away.

Actually I didn't just post this out of a random whim... I've been reading a lot of posts lately where someone will make a claim like 'swap out that peanut cam and get an L98 cam'... like the one started by Casey91Z28.

Hey Mr. J.... give credit where credit is due. Drkhorse89 was the one who said that, not Chris91.

I don't know much about the cams but my car hauls a$$ out of the toll booth. I was right behind my friends 72 chev 1/2ton and he is running a 427. I can pull the hill very well and I still get double the gas milage he is getting!
