Help me understand Compucam
Hey,
It is my understanding that with a stock chip in a TPI you would have to get a compucam to make your car run correctly without adverse conditions, but i have a few questions
1. Does anybody else make cams like these ?
2. Do they sell cam chip combos ?
3. I want a low end cam for street racing, say 1500-4000 rpm's but the only one jegs lists asks for "optional gears" must i have optional gears for good hp/tourque gains ?

You want something in the 214 intake duration range, with about .460-.470 lift. Look for a Comp cams xtreme profile in that area. Crane is behind the times IMO.
