Code 22 TPS outta adjustment

I am getting a code 22 for the TPS being out of adjustment and I won't be able to get to until later this week. So anyway here are my questions what do I make the jumpers out of? Do I connect one end of them to the plug and the other to the sensor or just one end to the sensor the other end to nothing? Is it ok to drive it around with it out of adjustment? Can I run it at the track(cause I wanna go to E-town wed. cause a few people I know are goin and I wanna grudge run some kid ina stang)? Thanks

You can make the jumpers out of anything that will conduct electricity. You have to connect the wires to both sides;(the male and female ends).Put your volt meter on the top two wires and set to correct voltage. As to running it at the track, it is easy to set, adjust it first, buy a new one if you need to. At WOT the voltage should be past 4.00 volts.
