85-87/88-89 SLP cold air kits..

Is there anything diffrent between the 85-87 kits, and the 88-89 cold air kits from SLP?

Would the 85-87 kit work on a 88 T/A?

The 88-89 radiator shrouds are different, for one, so the MAF bracket is longer (I hope SLP doesn't sell brackets for the '88-'89 kits 'cuz you can re-use the one you have).

Personally, unless you have the restrictive intake system like I had, why buy the whole SLP kit? If you have an '88, you already have the ductwork and bracket. All you need is the box and lid. Use the search function here to research what others have done to improve the '88-'89 air induction. It's already pretty good.

Oh, and to answer your question simply - yes. Just use an '88-'89 MAF bracket.
