hard starting.

I have an 88 5.7 tpi, I have to give it about 1/4 pedal to start it.. does ne1 know what could be causing this. Could it be a bad O2 sensor?

Axle/Gears: 3.42
Definatly not the o2 sensor. I would check your TPS and IAC settings and make sure your fuel pump relay is good.
